Ari came to us as an owner surrender. She is a happy girl who can be rather dominant. She is showing behavior of resource guarding both food and people but is quickly learning that she doesnt not have to be on guard all the time. She will need owners with submissive dogs and experience training with resource guarding. Ari is super playful and very smart. She is crate trained and house broken. No cats for her! She would prefer a house with a yard but would probably be okay in an apartment if she has other dogs to keep her entertained. She is super sweet and affectionate and will attack you with kisses. Ari is the sweetest girl, she loves a good rub while she lays across your lap. She enjoys laying near your legs or even going under the bed to have her own little space. While she does pull a little on the leash, she has gotten better day by day. She is a wonderful inside dog, completely house broken and crate trained. Not a very vocal little one, she interacts well with other people and dogs. While she did display a bit of possessiveness at first, once she bonds with the other animals in the house and the people, that tends to cease. When leaving the house or getting ready to be fed she runs straight to the crate. She is small but a mighty little girl, she has the sweetest personality and just wants to be loved. She is not the best when sharing toys but responds well to direction. She would do just fine in an apartment. She enjoys car rides. Ari plays well with other dogs regardless of size as long as Ari can be the boss and the other dog doesn’t expect her to share toys.
