Welcome Azure Jones to NTASR!
Sweet Azure was on our intake list when he was surrendered to a local Animal Shelter where after he completed his "stray" hold, we scooped him right up. 
Right now, because of his time in the shelter, Azure is having to fight off an Upper Respiratory Infection. Due to this, he's on Medical Hold until we get the all clear from our veterinarian.  This season we have seen some of the WORST cases of Bordetella, Canine Influenza, and Pneumonia in over 25 years. If you have pets at home, please talk to your veterinarian about vaccinations to help prevent your pets from becoming ill. 
Here's what we know for sure about this absolutely precious boy! His former person did not treat him with the kindness and love he deserved.  We know that he was not fed properly that he is starving for affection. Azure is a very loving boy despite the awful circumstances he came out of. 
Azure is a Red Merle, Standard Australian Shepherd. He's  3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped & Heartworm Negative. Azure is great with other dogs and children. He's house and kennel trained, and is one of the most beautiful boys we have ever laid our eyes on.
