BB came to us after he started having trouble walking. He went straight to our vet and we found he has a condition called Hemivertebrae. This condition is common in screw tail dogs. It’s basically a kink in the spine. He has limited use in his back legs but it doesn’t prevent him from getting around. He has been started on meds and our vet is very hopeful he’ll be up and walking like a normal pup in less than a month!!
BB is fully vaccinated and his neuter is on our schedule! He is wonderful with dogs and cats and would be fine with patient and respectful kids. He does not need a wheelchair or drag bag at this time. He’s just over 30 lbs (yes a big boy!). BB has the SWEETEST disposition. He loves toys and running in the back yard.
