Beau’s name, derived from Latin, means “Free Man,” a perfect fit for this resilient boy who was rescued from a life of neglect. He had never known the warmth of a home, the joy of toys, or the kindness of human interaction—until now. Since arriving in our care, Beau has blossomed into a loving, trusting companion who adores belly rubs, treats, and lap snuggles.  
 
With his striking one blue eye and one green eye, Beau is as unique as he is sweet. Although slightly hearing impaired, his intelligence shines through. He’s mastered “yes,” “no,” and “off,” and is learning “sit” and “stay” like a pro with handsignals. This boy is housebroken, working on crate training, and incredibly loyal—he’s proven he’s not a runner by sticking close even when given the chance to roam.  
 
Beau thrives in an active home with plenty of stimulation and would love having dog friends to play with. He gets along with dogs of all kinds and warms up to new people quickly. While his reaction to cats is unknown, he’ll respond to kindness with unwavering trust.
