Meet Bella Grace!
Bella and her three puppies came to NTASR from a breeder who was closing her breeding program. After seeing her puppies through their weaning, Bella is now ready to find a home of her own.
Bella truly is the sweetest girl you will ever meet.
Once she opens up, she has one of the strongest wiggle-butts you have ever seen and will steal your heart! She loves walks, treats and cuddles. Bella would do well with either a single person or a family that would give her plently of attention. We would not recommend a house with a cat. Bella does get nervous around new people & dogs so patience is a must. She will run to her crate for food or treats, but does not like to be left alone in a crate for extended periods of time. Bella does well if she needs to be left alone in a bedroom or laundry room without any issue. She also has learned how to use the dog door to go the bathroom, however she has had a couple of accidents here and there.
We noticed draining from Bella's eye that just wasn't getting any better despite medication provided to her by our regualr veterinarian. Our vet noticed that her eye had some abnormalities and referred us to a specialist to further investigate what was going on with her. We quickly took her to the Opthemologist to have her checked out and it turns out that she is completly blind in that leaky eye after being injured by another dog prior to her entering into our program. At the Specialist recommendation, Bella will be having that eye removed due to the injury causing her pain and severe discomfort.
Bella is a Toy Australian Shepherd, 5 years old, Current on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative, Microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed soon.
Would you like to be the lucky family that shows Bella what it means to be loved beyond measure?
