BMW or "Beemer" comes to us with the car litter from a shelter. His entire litter was sick with pneumonia when they first joined rescue. Thankfully everyone is healthy and recovered. Most of this litter is a foster fail but Beemer is going up for adoption!

From his foster momma: "Poor boy was so sick in the beginning that I feel like he is just now becoming who he is supposed to be.  Beemer is quiet, a bit on the reserved side and very smart. Fortunately he wants to do the right thing and has proven easy to train. He crates well and is learning to ring a bell to ask to go outside. I really think he would blossom in an only dog or a quiet older dog household. Beemer loves his person (currently me) and follows like a little shadow. He respects our cat but does spaz out every time the cat walks into the room. He is not aggressive but is overly interested much to our cat’s dismay. He has done well with our 4 y.o. granddaughter who doesn’t always respect the puppies boundaries. Has not snapped or growled at her at all. Beemer travels well in the car and has been lovely on outings. He will let people pet him but has not sought out their attention.Beemer does have some resource guarding tendencies with his crate and his food. With strict boundaries that can easily be fixed."

Beemer would be fine in an apartment with the right owner. Kids are okay as long as they have been around other dogs before. Cats probably are not the best for him.
