Buttercup came in with her brother, Wesley.
 
These two tiny babies are unfortunately the result of merle to merle breeding, which happens all too often these days. While there’s nothing we can physically do to stop it, we CAN educate!!!! These two pups are from an oops litter and are the only 2 effected. When the owners couldn’t sell them, we stepped in to make sure they got the care they needed.
These puppies just turned 9 weeks old and finally got their first round of shots. Wesley is 9 lbs and Buttercup is 7 lbs. They both still have their tails. They got full exams at our vet and it was determined that Wesley is completely deaf and can see shadows and changes in light. Buttercup on the other hand, per our vet, is 100% blind and 100% deaf. However, we are seeing signs that she does have some vision in one eye as she can follow balls and other dogs around.
 
We are working with these pups on training and getting vetting done. They will be available soon!
