Carson came to us terrified of humans and would run away from his foster parents. He is finally walking up to his fosters but isn’t quite actively seeking affection. He still won’t accept pets or treats from us. With other dogs, Carson excels greatly! He will do zoomies around the yard. With his age, he is still not a fan of the crate and would rather be out with other pups. We are working on leash training and it’s a work in progress but he isn’t freezing or hunkering down as much as he did on day 1. Carson is a really loving boy who NEEDS other socialized playful dogs in the home. He will need an adopter who is patient and willing to continue building his trust with humans on his own terms. He will be a little bit of a project dog but his return will be so worth it!!! Carson is available for foster to adopt in the DFW area!
