Cricket comes to us as an owner surrender. She was posted once on facebook, and you may recall the day after we brought her in, she gave birth to one little unexpected puppy. She rejected her puppy so we sent little grasshopper to a bottle feeder. Two weeks later, grasshopper passed and did not make it. We believe there was some defects with her and thats why Cricket rejected her in the first place. Cricket had time to heal mentally and emotionally and then got spayed. She is now searching for a forever home of her own. She is 4 years old and about 10 lbs. She is good with other dogs and kids but should not be with cats. She would be fine in an apartment or with someone who works away from home full time. Cricket is still working on potty training but shes almost there. Her adopter will have to understand that she may have some accidents and still needs some positive reinforcement with her training. She enjoys the crate and has no issues with it. We are still working on walking her with a leash. She has never met a stranger and is a really well rounded girl . Cricket is a spunky little lady with a big personality. She closely resembles Beyonce or Mariah Carey. She is good with dogs of all sizes but likes to be the boss, so other pups that will let her do that and be submissive would be best. She has a herding drive and isnt afraid of anything including water, hoses, cacti, large birds plotting her capture, or the neighborhood stray thats 15 times her size. This girl would be a great addition to any home. She likes to cuddle, run in circles, and chase the imaginary ball. Scoop her up while you can, she wont be available long!
