Blue (formerly David) is a nearly 1-year-old sweetheart who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Before coming to NTASR, he and his sister lived outside with very little human interaction. That tough start left him unsure—especially around men and boys—but with patience, a calm environment, and a loving hand, Blue is starting to open up and discover the comfort of companionship.
This shy but tender-hearted boy adores the women and girls in his life and finds peace in their presence. He also LOVES being around other dogs! Canine companions give him confidence and bring out his playful side, which makes every day a little brighter. While he's still learning to walk on a leash, he sticks close to his person (seriously—he walks so close it’s almost funny!) and gets a bit braver with every step.
Blue is kennel trained, potty trained, and incredibly food motivated. He’s already learning to “sit” and “lay,” and he’s obsessed with treats, toys, chew bones, and snuggly morning cuddles. He’s ready for a home that understands the importance of patience and progress—and one that will help him continue his journey with kindness and consistency.
