This beautiful peanut had a rough start to life. A member of our community was at Walmart loading up her groceries when a family came up to her with this puppy and asked if she would take the dog for them. They said they had fallen on hard times and couldn’t afford her. They told her if she didn’t take her, they were going to have to leave her in the parking lot. Of course this woman said yes and loaded her up and took her home. They gave her no birthday, no name, no supplies, didn’t say anything about her. Thankfully this wonderful woman got her a bed and food and toys and then reached out to us for help!! We had a foster say YES and that’s when Ellie hopped on the rescue wagon and joined our program.
We think she is about 12 weeks old. She is BEAUTIFUL!!! She has a merle coat with some speckled feet. She also has a marbled blue and brown eye. Her coat isn’t fluffy, but almost like peach fuzz, it is soft like velvet. Obviously Ellie is a mix of some sort and hopefully we’ll be able to find out what she’s mixed with! She is settled into her foster home and gaining more confidence every minute of the day! She is sleeping all night in her crate without making a sound and is catching on to potty training super fast!!!
