Genesis comes to us with the car litter from a shelter. Her entire litter was sick with pneumonia when they first joined rescue. Thankfully everyone is healthy and recovered. Most of this litter is a foster fail but Genesis is going up for adoption!
 
From her foster momma: She has so much personality and sass that makes her fit right in with the rest of my herd. She’s very protective of her brother and they are joined at the hip but do not need to stay together. She loves water, she will roll in the water bowl and even lay in it and sleep but bath time is not her favorite. She gets more baths than most because of her skin so maybe that’s why but once she realizes that she isn’t going to win she will give up and let me wash her. Her skin has been off an on with yeast and bacterial infections but lately it’s only been on her abdomen and no where else. She is timid of strangers, and is just now coming up to my kids and husband to be pet but if they reach too fast she will run off. She’s also an escape artist and can get through the iron fence. Luckily she doesn’t run off but we have to watch her outside now. She can also climb up to the top of the 7ft cat tree. Overall I’d say she’s your typical puppy who is very ornery and likes to get into trouble. I don’t want to say she’s 100% potty trained but she hasn’t had an accident in a while. She’s kenneled at night with her brother and she will cry for a minute but then she settles down and sleeps all night.
 
Genesis would be fine in an apartment with the right owner. Kids are okay as long as they have been around other dogs before.
