At just 3 years old, Junebug is a compact cutie with a big personality—and yes, she’s a Corgi with a tail! 🐕💃 After retiring from a breeding life, she's discovering what it means to be a beloved family dog, and her foster says she’s making progress every day.
Junebug is an affectionate, goofy, and incredibly snuggly girl once she trusts you. She can be a little shy at first—especially around men—but once she warms up, she’ll bounce with joy to say hi and chat with her signature Corgi chatter. She's still building confidence on walks and adjusting to new routines, but she’s eager to learn and very food-motivated (she’s got that Corgi smarts… and stubborn streak).
At night, Junebug wants nothing more than to be close to her human. She sleeps in a soft crate in the bedroom and makes the perfect TV binge-watching companion. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks on a leash—though she’s still gaining confidence with the great outdoors.
🛑 Junebug does have some resource guarding tendencies around other dogs, particularly with food or high-value items. Because of this, she will thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior and can help her continue to build confidence and boundaries. She’s never shown guarding behavior toward humans.
