Lucy comes to us as an owner surrender. She is super tiny at only 25 lbs. Lucy is an aussie mix (we don’t know with what) but she has one of the strongest herding drives we’ve ever seen. With this, we’d like to see her go to someone with herding dog experience. Lucy cannot work any cattle because of her tail so she will need to get her herding desires filled in another manor. She would be fine with kids 8+, because she will try to herd them, so preferably kids who have been around Aussies before. Lucy is a little timid at first and will need a day or two to fully feel comfortable in her new home. She can be rather bossy and would need to be with other dogs who will be submissive and let her be the boss. Lucy MIGHT be good in an apartment if the right person with the right life style is her owner so we will judge that on a case by case basis. Lucy will not hesitate to hurt a cat so she needs a cat free home.
