Welcome Nolan to NTASR!!
 
Nolan is a beautiful cocker spaniel who is anxious to get into his forever home! He is your typical puppy who can be nippy and bouncy. He has such a big personality and it make take a few days for it to come out, but its there! Nolan will absolutely need another dog who is playful and can tolerate puppy energy. So far he has been scared of big dogs over 45 lbs. So ideally, another medium to small playful pup would be great. Nolan loves to snuggle but doesnt tolerate being grabbed or picked up yet. Because of this and his nippy play style, we suggest kids 6 and up who can understand boundaries. Nolan will need a house with a yard and no apartments. He is a big howler when left alone. With him still being a puppy, he will need someone home more often than not to work on his basic training. Watch your step, cuz this puppy wants to be under you at all times and might cause you to trip! He would be fine with a dog savvy cat sibling. Nolan loves loves loves toys but hasnt been super food  motivated. With a nice little play time before bed, Nolan has been sleeping through the night in his crate. He will still have accidents inside during the day, as he gets very distracted when he goes outside because he wants to play. However, he has not had a single accident in his crate. Nolan will need regular grooming, so please consider that before applying!
