When Apollo came to us, he was simply terrified of life. Oh how far he's come in the time we have had him. We've seen Apollo go from hiding behind trees to make himself small, to becoming more social with people and animals. We've seen him go from soiling himself due to fear of being touched, to actively seeking affection from people.

Apollo is a sweet, loving, playful young dog.  He is a goofball sometimes when he is trying to play. Other times he can be very timid and unsure of things. He loves "the pets" once he trusts you and will even give you kisses. His safe places are in his crate or under a table at your feet. He is a typical Aussie velcro dog since he will follow you anywhere! 
 
Apollo is shy and is working on his confidence. He needs a forever home that is patient and understanding that it will take him time to build trust. He loves being around another dog or two who will teach him the ways of the dog! He is a fast learner when other dogs model behaviors. Loud noises make him very scared, so active, loud young children are not advised. He is good around cats and really enjoys their toys!
