Odin comes to us as an owner surrender after he was battling severe allergies and skin issues. His owners claimed he was vegan and allergic to everything under the sun. His coat looks okay, but his undercarraige is all scabs and raw skin.  He is super sweet and loves people. He is crate trained and house broken. After a trip to our vet and a full allergy testing report, Odin is currently on oral allergy medication and getting medicated bathes. He also has to be on a hydralyzed protein food, which is about $120 per bag. Odin will have these expenses stay with him for the rest of his life. The cost of this extra care is definitely something any adopter needs to consider. He cannot have most dog treats and will occasionally have allergy flare ups. He should get medicated bathes a few times a month to help his skin stay under control. We know, this sounds like a lot of work but he is so worth it. He is sweet and loving and just wants to be with his people. Odin is great with kids and will be the first to give kisses or hop in the car for a ride. He tolerates other dogs but would really love either being the only dog, or another female dog that minds their business and lets him be the center of attention. He is currently fostering with other dogs but is frequently snappy and would prefer they go away. He is definitely an alpha male. Odin would pay no mind to cats. He is house broken and crate trained. He loves car rides and snuggling and being held and loved on.
