Poppy came to us as an owner surrender after her owners mother fell ill and they had to move in with her to care for her, unfortunately poppy couldnt go with. Poppy is a little old lady who we just ADORE. Poppy is a pure bred mini blue merle australian shepherd. She is about 30 lbs. She is 8 years old and a lover of all things. Poppy tolerates other dogs as long as they stay out of her face. She is older and won't initiate any type of play. So, while she is good with other dogs she doesnt like sharing her people. She is the definition of a velcro dog. She wants to be in your lap and sleep with you and be at your feet constantly. She will paw at you to pet her if you even think of stopping. She barks at sudden noises so no apartments for this girl. She hates cats so no feline siblings either. She is fantastic in the car and wonderful on the leash. This baby still has so much life left in her and she would love to spend it with her final and forever family!
