Yoshi comes to us as an owner surrender. He is incredibly smart, almost too smart. He is a happy happy boy who will do anything and everything for a ball. Yoshi knows the commands, sit, down, shake, high 5, crawl, roll over, boop, and is a master at fetch. He is incredibly active and would love a family that can keep him active with games of fetch, hikes, runs, walks, or other adventures. He is crate trained and house broken . He will need someone who is home more often than not. We cant wait to get this boy his forever home! Yoshi needs a home with no kids!!!
From his foster family:
“Yoshi Wan Kenobi has soft, gorgeous fur, a lovely look, and is very fit. His tail is docked. Total fetch addict. Any baseball players out there who love throwing a ball? He would be your perfect dog! He is super-duper sweet to us, incredibly athletic and loves to play fetch, jump high & catch things. Knows many commands - over 20- and would be terrific on an agility course. Soooo smart! Seems like the type of dog that could win many ribbons… He’s absolutely adorable in many, many ways. Loves a dip in the pool on the step! However, he is overprotective of us and is not always nice to visitors who come to our house (exactly the way Aussies are bred to protect the ranch home, so he’s really great at his job!). He is wonderful with other dogs, has gotten along well at Posh Paw when he stayed there, and his terrific if we take him to a park for his walks. He is only protective of our home and the area close-by when we go on a walk- he truly believes it is his mission in life. He would not be good in a home with lots of people coming over- like kids’ friends, or lots of maintenance staff- He would be the perfect dog for someone wanting a dog who alerts them to intruders- especially a celebrity or ex pro athlete looking to be left alone. Yoshi would also be terrific on a large property, or even on a ranch protecting a herd of horses or sheep.”
