At NTASR, our adoption process is thoughtful by design. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and our mission is not driven by speed or volume—it’s driven by doing right by each dog and setting them up for lifelong success.

Every dog who comes into our care has a unique story and timeline. 

Applications are typically reviewed within 2–4 weeks. Once approved, your application is shared with the dog’s foster family to evaluate fit. If they believe it’s a good match, they will reach out to schedule a meet and greet. We also offer home trials, allowing both you and the dog the space to ensure it’s the right fit—because adoption should be a lifelong commitment, not a rushed decision.
