Amelia is a 2-year-old, 35 lb Standard Aussie with a heart as big as her fluffy coat. She’s a true survivor—after a traumatic start where she was thrown from two stories up, she came into rescue with an injured eye and a hip that now causes some dysplasia. But don’t let that fool you—this brave girl hasn’t let her past dim her sparkle one bit!
 
She adores chasing tennis balls (still perfecting the art of the return 🎾) and comes running the moment you call her name. House trained, and crate trained. Laid-back and affectionate, Amelia is happiest by your side—whether she’s “helping” with chores as your shadow or curled up in your lap giving endless kisses.
 
Because she loves her humans so much, Amelia would thrive best as the only dog in the home, soaking up every ounce of love and attention. She’s a snuggle bug through and through, ready to trade her rough beginning for a life filled with comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. 🐾❤️
