Meet Arabella 💕
 
Arabella is a 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighing approximately 23 pounds, and she is truly one of the most gentle souls you’ll ever meet.
 
She comes to NTASR from a heartbreaking Smith County cruelty case involving 38 dogs living in unimaginable, unsanitary conditions. NTASR took in 20 of those dogs, and Arabella is one of the shining examples of resilience and recovery from that group.
 
Despite everything she has been through, Bella’s spirit remains soft, affectionate, and full of love. She is described as affectionate, chill, food-motivated, goofy, and wonderfully snuggly. She’s the kind of dog who is always ready for kisses, gentle cuddles, and simply being near her people.
Bella enjoys short neighborhood strolls, taking in the world at an easy pace, and she loves meeting new people. She’s also a big fan of car rides—especially when they end in something fun like a pup cup.
 
She has adjusted beautifully in her foster home and continues to improve physically each day, particularly her skin and coat. You would never guess the conditions she came from based on her trusting, well-adjusted nature and her eagerness to connect with people.
 
Arabella is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. She does great with other dogs and cats, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. Her temperament is gentle and easygoing, and she simply wants to be close to her people and soak up love wherever she can find it.
 
Bella is proof that resilience and love can shine through even the hardest beginnings. She’s now ready to leave her past behind and step into the forever home she has always deserved. 💕
