Aut is a ~3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel weighing about 23 pounds, and honestly? He looks like a tiny distinguished pirate in the best possible way. 🏴‍☠️🤎
Aut came to NTASR after being abandoned at a boarding facility when his owner never returned for him. Thankfully, the facility reached out for help, and now he’s getting the fresh start he deserved all along.
His missing eye is the result of an old cat scratch injury, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just adds to his charm. He’s got the sweetest expressions, a gentle personality, and the kind of face that makes people fall in love almost immediately.
We’re still getting to know Aut as he settles into rescue life, but so far he’s been incredibly sweet, affectionate, and quietly soaking up kindness like he hasn’t had enough of it in a long time. He’s the kind of dog that just wants to be near his people and feel safe again.
Aut will be fully vetted very soon and is looking for a home that understands dogs are family for life.
