Meet Carl Grimes 🤍
A double merle, partially blind, deaf, 8-month-old cuddle monster who apparently never received the memo that he is, in fact, 33 pounds. 😂
Carl came to NTASR after being pulled from a shelter east of the DFW Metroplex, and this boy is basically 1000% obsessed with life.
People? OBSESSED.
Dogs? OBSESSED.
Toys? OBSESSED.
Snacks? Say less.
Cuddling? His life's work.
Carl is deaf and mostly blind, but you'd hardly know it. He gets around beautifully, loves to play and wrestle with his dog friends, and has figured out that the world is still a pretty fantastic place.
He can be a little shy meeting new dogs, but once he's comfortable, he's ready to party. And when the party's over? He's climbing into your lap for a nap because, again, he is 5 pounds.
He's potty trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, sleeps through the night, and would make an excellent remote-work coworker. He'll happily supervise your Zoom calls from the couch.
Carl has had one seizure and is currently on medication, with no additional seizures since that initial episode.
Carl doesn't need anyone to feel sorry for him.
He needs someone who sees what we see:
A ridiculously happy, affectionate, goofy puppy who just wants to play, cuddle, and be wherever his people are. 🤍
We're pretty sure that's where the good stuff is anyway.
