Cookie was surrendered to the rescue for unknown reasons. But we knew we had to help her. As soon as Cookie came into rescue, we found out she was pregnant and with her 6th litter. We rushed to find a foster to whelp and care for her litter. Unfortunately momma Cookie miscarried her entire litter only a few days later. She is heart broken and grieving but we are here for her and making sure she is getting all the love. Cookie Bio
Cookie is affection defined! She loves giving and receiving attention. She wants to be near her people, adore them, and be adored. Snuggles are her favorite! She has a bit of separation anxiety and barks when left at home, so she would likely be best in a house where her humans are home more often than not. She loves to initiate play with other dogs that she’s comfortable with. She can get a little possessive of her couch and her people, though. Otherwise, she gets along well with dogs! She can nip heels when she plays so older kids are best! She’s having some house-training issues during the night, so be prepared to put in the work of reteaching her potty manners.
