Darby was the first puppy to open her eyes.
First to walk.
First to decide solid food was a pretty good idea.
Coincidence?
We think not. 😂
 
Darby is the observant one of the litter. She's calm, attentive, and has THE BEST EYE CONTACT, which is honestly a little dangerous because she can look directly into your soul and make you feel like whatever she wants is probably a reasonable request.
 
She's tuned into her people and seems genuinely eager to learn. While her siblings are busy throwing themselves into the latest puppy emergency, Darby is often watching, processing, and figuring out what's going on.
 
She's curious without being wild, confident without being pushy, and just has that little “I'm paying attention” quality about her.
Basically, Darby gives teacher's pet who secretly has a mischievous side.
She's been raised with dogs, toddlers, and her seven siblings, and she's getting a wonderful start to life as a house dog.
 
We have a feeling this girl is going to be VERY fun to train.
And possibly a little too smart for her own good. 💛
