Deacon was found in a neighborhood with Luke Charles suffering from some type of poisoning. After a hospitalization and close monitoring, they are finally healthy and feeling like themselves. The boys have been neutered and are ready to find a forever home! 
 
Deacon is a big boy, about 55 lbs. The vet guesses hes between 3 and 5 years old. He has a goofy personality and is your typical blue merle. Deacon is still working on manners and boundaries. He has a bad habbit of jumping up on people. It's a work in progress but it is all out of love and wanting to be as close to his people as he can. He is house broken and getting so much better on a leash. He can sometimes resource guard his food bowl and should definitely eat by himself. Deacon has not needed a kennel so we arent sure how kennel trained he is. He sleeps in a separate room at night and while he may huff and puff, he is not destructive and stays quiet. Deacon loves loves loves attention and will rub on you to get it. He is such a happy boy who is so thankful for a second chance at life. Deacon really doesnt understand his size and should not be with little kids. Kids 8+ would be fine. He loves spending time outside and sun bathing so no apartments unless you have a fenced in yard. Deacon is not bonded to Luke and while we would love to see them in a home together, they do not NEED to stay together. Deacon is ready to find his forever family!
