Delta likes to take a second, look around, and say, "Okay... what's the plan?"
Born around May 2026, Delta is a 12-pound little adventurer with a curious mind and a sweet heart. She approaches new things with a little extra thought, taking her time to explore, observe, and make sure she's got all the important details covered.
 
She's basically the friend who reads the menu before everyone else orders.
Delta is part of our East Texas crew who came into rescue after mom, Sabine, and another mama, Trinity, were surrendered to a small rural shelter with their eight puppies. We couldn't leave them behind, so we made the trip to Deep East Texas and brought the whole family into NTASR.
 
Now that puppy life is winding down, Delta is ready for her next adventure: finding a family of her own.
 
We know mom is a Mini Aussie, but dad? Your guess is as good as ours! Delta is a one-of-a-kind mystery mix, which means she comes with her own unique blend of traits, quirks, and personality. 
 
Once Delta decides you're her person, prepare yourself for the sweetest little shadow. She'll keep an eye on where you are, check in for affection, and happily remind you when it's time for pets. She's playful and curious, but she also knows the importance of a good cuddle session.
And snacks?
 
Delta is a big believer that treats are an important part of any relationship. She's food motivated, eager to learn, and ready to show off just how clever she is.
 
Now that her puppy vaccines are complete, Delta is ready for training, socialization, adventures, and all the little moments that make a dog feel like family. She's great with kids, loves other dogs, and is ready to grow alongside the people who choose her.
