Meet Emmett “Doc” Brown — but his friends call him Bourbon ⚡🐾
Great Scott! This sweet puppy is ready to travel forward… straight into his forever home.
Doc Brown came to us from a hoarding situation along with several other dogs, and while his early chapters were a little chaotic, this boy is already proving that the future is bright. With a gentle temperament and thoughtful personality, Bourbon is the kind of pup who likes to take in the world around him while staying close to his people.
He’s already off to a fantastic start with his training. Bourbon knows sit, stay, and down, is crate trained and potty trained, and sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ. He’s also learning how to spend short periods home alone and is doing great.
Bourbon enjoys daily walks and outdoor adventures, and he’s already comfortable on leash. Like any young pup, he’ll continue to benefit from structure, training, and confidence-building as he grows.
He loves other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can show him the ropes and join him in playtime.
Since he’s still a puppy, Bourbon enjoys chewing toys — especially the ones he can enthusiastically “re-engineer.” Providing appropriate chew toys and continued guidance will help keep this young scientist focused on the right projects.
Bourbon has met children but can be a little unsure around them at times, and he has shown some typical herding behaviors, so a home prepared to continue training and set boundaries will help him succeed.
Doc Brown already has a great foundation and a heart full of love. With the right family providing patience, structure, and plenty of encouragement, he’s going to grow into an incredibly loyal and fun companion.
If you’re ready to help this sweet pup write his next chapter — no time machine required — Doc Brown is ready to meet you.
