Faith’s story started in a place no dog should ever know.
 
She came to NTASR from the Smith County hoarding case, where 38 dogs were rescued from unimaginable conditions. When she arrived, she was in rough shape and needed time, medical care, and lots of TLC. But somehow, through everything she’s endured, Faith never lost her ability to love.
And this little girl is ready to show the world who she really is. 💙
 
Faith is equal parts sweet, silly, and snuggly. She loves being near her people, enjoys a good play session with her foster siblings, and then is immediately ready to clock out for a very important nap. Priorities, right?
 
She’s a tiny girl with a BIG personality. Faith is incredibly food motivated and is learning all the important life skills—like waiting politely for treats, not rushing through doorways, and understanding that dinner does, in fact, arrive even if she doesn’t supervise the process. 😂
 
She’s comfortable with everyday life too! Loud noises, lawn equipment, fireworks, and car rides don’t phase her. She’s a brave little soul who is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place anymore.
 
Faith is still working on house training, but she’s making progress every day. She sleeps peacefully in her open kennel, uses puppy pads overnight, and is learning what it means to be a loved and cared-for house dog.
 
Her little gray face may make her look like a wise old soul, but we don’t actually know her age. Dogs who have experienced severe neglect and malnutrition can show premature graying, and Faith’s face is just one reminder of the life she had before rescue.
 
What we do know? She’s estimated to be somewhere around 4–7 years old, and she has so much life and love left to give.
 
Faith isn’t defined by where she came from.
She’s the goofy girl who survived.
The cuddle bug who still trusts.
