Flannel is a 6-pound DIVA with a whole lot of attitude packed into a tiny Toy Aussie body. She walks well on leash, is mostly potty trained (about 85%), and will go into her crate — though she may announce her displeasure while she’s in there. With consistent positive reinforcement, she’s well on her way to being fully crate trained.
Despite her size, Flannel is absolutely the boss. She’s the dominant pup in the group, keeps her brother in line (even though he’s 4 pounds bigger), and has no patience for being pushed around. Tiny, confident, and fully aware of it.
Flannel is adventurous, clever, and very communicative — she always has something to say. She’s food-motivated, curious, enthusiastic, and playful, but her favorite place is still with her people. Ideally in a lap, chewing on a bone for as long as possible. People are her priority, always.
She may take a little time to warm up to new dogs, but once she does, she goes all in — wrestling, playing, and fully ready to rage. The same goes for humans: she might need a couple of days to warm up to her adopter, but once that bond forms, she’ll be glued to your hip.
Flannel can live in a home with other dogs or be perfectly happy as an only dog — she’s flexible there — but she truly cares way more about her humans. She tolerates kids but doesn’t have much interest in running around with them.
If you’re looking for a tiny dog with a big personality, strong opinions, and unmatched devotion once she chooses you, Flannel is your girl. 🐾
