Meet George!
George is a stout, big-hearted corgi with a hilarious personality and a LOT to say. He “talks” in the funniest mix of hound noises and almost-words — especially if snacks are involved (food is absolutely his love language).
He’s affectionate, goofy, playful, and surprisingly athletic for his age — more like a 4–5 year old than a senior. He enjoys chasing squeaky toys, soaking up attention, and going for short walks (about ½ mile at a time). He’s currently being treated for arthritis in his shoulders and is responding well to medication.
George is altered, housetrained, crate trained, and walks on leash. He can stay crated overnight (after a bedtime potty break) without accidents. He does have some resource guarding tendencies, so he’ll do best with an experienced adopter who understands dog body language and boundaries.
If you’re looking for a communicative, snack-loving, adorable corgi with personality for days — George is your guy. 🧡
