✨ Meet Hadley Anne ✨
44 lbs | Standard Aussie | Double Merle | Deaf & Blind | Fully Vetted | Dog, Cat & Kid Friendly
Okay, hear us out… because Hadley Anne is the kind of dog who makes you stop and rethink everything you thought you knew about “special needs.”
Hadley doesn’t know she’s different.
This beautiful Double Merle girl came to NTASR from a shelter, and from the moment she arrived, she’s been showing everyone that life is about so much more than what you can see or hear. Hadley experiences the world through trust, touch, routine, and the incredible bond she builds with her people.
And wow… does this girl love her people. 🥹
Hadley is a gentle, affectionate, snuggly little shadow who will happily be your loyal sidekick. She bonds quickly with her person and has mastered the art of being the perfect “wherever you go, I go” companion.
Kitchen? She’s there.
Couch? Obviously.
Five steps away in another room? She would like to discuss this separation immediately. 😂
If her favorite human disappears behind a closed door, she may let out a tiny “ummm excuse me?” whimper—but she settles because she’s learning that her people always come back.
Despite being deaf and blind, Hadley is an incredibly confident girl. She’s calm, patient, and surprisingly easygoing. She’s crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, and has zero interest in redecorating your house (the furniture is safe, friends).
She’s basically the ultimate low-maintenance cuddle buddy.
Hadley loves people, does well with kids, cats, and other dogs. Because she can’t hear or see the normal “hey, give me some space” signals from other dogs, she does best with respectful canine friends who understand her sweet, bump-into-things-a-little nature. A calm, patient dog is her perfect match.
The thing about Hadley? She doesn’t need someone to rescue her anymore.
Hadley isn’t looking for a pity home. She’s looking for her forever person—the one who will be her guide, her advocate, and her biggest fan.
Because once Hadley gives you her trust?
You’ll realize she was never missing anything at all. 🐾
