Meet Hardin 🩵
Some puppies need to be the first one through the door.
 
Hardin prefers to take a second, make sure everything looks good, and then say, "Okay... I'm ready."
 
Born May 2026, this 12-pound sweetheart is a gentle little soul with a curious heart and the prettiest blue eyes you'll ever get lost in.
Hardin is part of our East Texas crew who came into rescue after mom, Sabine, and another mama, Trinity, were surrendered to a small rural shelter with their eight puppies. We couldn't leave them behind, so we made the trip to Deep East Texas and brought the whole family into NTASR.
 
Now this sweet girl is ready for her next chapter: finding a family of her own.
We know mom is a Mini Aussie, but dad? Your guess is as good as ours! Hardin is a one-of-a-kind mystery mix, which means she comes with her own special combination of personality, quirks, and puppy magic. Whatever her secret recipe is, it created one seriously lovable little companion.
 
Hardin is the kind of puppy who likes to observe before jumping in. She may hesitate when it's time to be the first one out of the pen, but give her a minute and she's ready to join the fun. Once she feels comfortable, her playful side comes out and she's off exploring.
 
But her favorite activity?
Snuggles.
 
The second cuddle time begins, her little tail starts wagging so fast it looks like it might have trouble keeping up. She'll melt right into your arms and look at you with those piercing blue eyes like she's trying to read your entire soul.

Hardin is sweet, patient, gentle, and ready for all the important puppy milestones ahead: training, socialization, adventures, and learning what it means to be someone's forever dog.
