Iris comes to us as an owner surrender. She is a total love bug and will just melt anyones heart. She is under weight right now and needs to put some pounds on. She also has some hematomas on her ears from chronic yeast infections and will be getting ear surgery soon. This will result in her ears being crinkled or falling but the goofy ears will just give her more character! Iris is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She is a totally people dog and would prefer a lap and a cozy couch. She likes to be carried around and stay as close to her people as possible. Iris is great with other dogs but has not initiated any play yet and would love to just find a spot to cozy up instead. She is eating great and would make the perfect sidekick. She is working on leash walking. She is good in a kennel. So far she is not house broken but she makes progress with us every day. Once she is a healthy weight and healed from her ear surgery she will be looking for a forever home!
