Meet JACK! 

Jack comes to us came to NTASR after he and another Corgi, Diane, were found abandoned in a metal crate on the side of the road during the middle of a Texas heatwave. In July. In Texas. They were covered in fleas, their skin was in rough shape, and they were desperately trying to escape the scorching heat. Thankfully, they don't have to survive anymore. Now they just get to learn what it's like to be loved.

Jack is an adorable 7-year-old boy is looking for a family to shower with love, and he's ready to become someone's loyal best friend. His favorite place in the world is right next to his person—whether that's curled up beside you on the couch or happily snoozing in your lap while you binge-watch your favorite TV shows. The only thing he loves more than a good squeaky toy is cuddles, head scratches, and being close to the people he loves.

He's currently living with a cat and has done wonderfully. While they aren't planning to cuddle together anytime soon, he has learned to respect her space, doesn't chase her, and they're perfectly comfortable sharing the house. He's also been getting to know the four neighborhood kids. Although he was a little shy and unsure at first, he's becoming more confident every day. Calm, gentle, one-on-one attention and a few head scratches are the quickest way to win him over.

This sweet boy enjoys leisurely sniff walks and is happiest exploring the neighborhood for about a quarter mile, his little Corgi legs don't need marathon hikes! More than anything, he's searching for someone to love unconditionally.
