Miss June is a very sweet, very timid little pup who is building up her confidence after a traumatic start to life. She is quiet, and enjoys hiding under things. Despite not wanting to get too close, she's a velcro dog & stays near her foster mom all day. She's a total sweetheart and she's blossoming into a bouncy & happy girl.
 
June is potty trained & crate trained, and is starting to practice putting on a harness. She doesn't really want to go for walks (too scary) or know how to walk on a leash, but she loves to run around outside in a fenced yard. She definitely appreciates the company of another confident playful dog in the house who can show her the ropes. Any adopter will have to be careful to plug up any unsafe hidey holes - she's an expert at getting into tiny spaces like under stairs or behind furniture.
 
She's learning to accept affection (turns out cuddles and scritches are pretty great!). She shows preference for her foster mom and is a bit scared of her foster dad. She's well behaved in her crate, loves a treat to chew on, does not bark, bite or nip. Miss June may never be the type of dog who likes new people or new places, but she is a sweet soul who will continue to grow into a wonderful companion. 
 
Aussie experience preferred for her adopters. She will need a LOT of patience and TLC. Please think about her history and her needs before applying. We know she is beautiful but there is a lot more to this Aussie than just her looks.
