Lucy comes to us as an owner surrender after the child in the home wasnt being very nice to her. Due to this, she is now super nervous and uneasy around kids and will need a kid free home. She is a beautiful mini dapple dachshund. She is house broken and has not needed a crate with us in foster so far! She absolutely loves kisses, snuggles, being held like a baby, and playing with slippers. She is quite the burrower and will need a very secure fence. Lucy loves going for walks. She will need someone who will put steps or ramps up for the couches and beds as dachshunds are prone to back injuries with too much jumping. Apartments okay as long as youre on the first floor!  Lucy is super playful and always looking for something to do. She needs another playful small dog in the home to keep her busy and entertained. She is such a JOY, hence her middle name!
