Meet Otis 🚀🐾

Otis is the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything. Morning walks? Cool. Weekend adventures? Absolutely. Rotting on the couch after? Also yes.

Otis came to us from a crowded North Texas shelter where he was really starting to struggle with the environment. The constant noise, stress, and kennel life were getting to him, and you could tell he just needed someone to give him a real chance outside of those walls. Once he got into foster care and could finally decompress, his personality started shining through.
 
He’s young and active, but not “bounce off the walls” energy. He does best when he has some structure, a little exercise, and people who include him in daily life. He’s super smart, eager to learn, and honestly pretty fun to train because he catches on so quickly. He potty trained fast, learned the dog door just by watching the other dogs, and genuinely enjoys figuring things out.
 
Otis is affectionate, goofy, and loves his people hard. He can come in a little excited at first (young Aussie vibes), but once he settles, he’s happy to hang out nearby and be your sidekick.

His ideal home would be somewhat active with older kids who can match his enthusiasm. A yard would definitely make him happy, but mostly he just wants people who will engage with him and make him part of the family.
 
Otis has been waiting longer than he should for a home, and we really think his people are out there. He’s a genuinely GREAT dog with a big heart and a lot of love to give.
