Meet Raven Hope – A True Survivor Turned Snugglebug
Raven Hope’s journey is nothing short of miraculous. 💛 It all began with a Facebook post and a text about a dog barely moving on a rural county road in 105° heat. By the time our volunteer arrived, Raven was in critical shape — pale gums, too weak to stand, and clear signs she’d been attacked days earlier. She had two puncture wounds (one already attracting maggots) and was covered in fleas and ticks.
She was rushed for emergency care, given fluids, wound treatment, and lots of love — and she lived up to her name. Today, this resilient Lab mix is fully healed, happy, and ready to find her forever family!
Raven is as fun-loving as she is sweet. She LOVES to play and jump around — we even joke that she’s part goat. Training those bouncy puppy antics is still a work in progress, but her joyful energy is contagious. She’s happiest romping in the backyard, chasing her furry siblings, and carrying her favorite toys from room to room.
When the fun winds down, Raven is a total cuddlebug. She sleeps well in her crate but is just as content snuggled up next to you in bed. Extended crate time isn’t her favorite, but she’s learning and improving every day. Potty training is almost complete — accidents are a thing of the past in her foster home, but continued reinforcement will help her fully master it in a new environment.
Raven would thrive with an active family who loves spending time outdoors — bonus points if you have a pool, a lake, or even an ocean for her to splash around in! She’s the perfect adventure buddy who’s just as happy curling up beside you after a day of fun.
After everything she’s been through, Raven Hope is ready for the best chapter yet — a home where she can play, grow, and love with her whole heart.
Could your home be the happy ending this brave girl’s story has been leading to?
