Theo comes to us as an owner surrender. He was originally adopted out from another rescue who did not match him with the proper home. That same rescue threatened to euthanize him if he was returned, so we stepped in and said we would bring him into our program. He's been with us for months and finished board and train and has made so much progress. Theo is 2.5 years old and about 50 lbs. 
 
First things first, Theo does not like children and absolutely cannot go to a home with kids or kid visitors. He does however LOVE playing chase, water of any kind, learning something new, being on squirrel patrol, playing wtih frisbees, chasing balls (and not bringing them back), going for walks, running in the back yard, and playing with other pups! He is super social with other dogs of all sizes. He will play gentle with smaller dogs and rumble and tumble with the bigger dogs. Outside of his dislike for kids and big boy bark, he is such a well rounded pup. 
 
Theo should not go to a first time dog owner and needs an experienced dog owner, preferrably an aussie experienced owner. He is completely house broken and enjoys his crate. He can take a bit to warm up so a patient owner is important. He is such a goofy boy after he settles in. Theo would love an active and engaging home!!
